Zeyla was born in England. Just before starting school her family moved to South Africa. After 2 years of medical school she switched to physical therapy and has not regretted that choice since! In 1987 she graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of the Witwatersrand. This medical school was at that time rated by the Journal of the American Medical Association as one of the top 5 medical schools in the world (including the USA).

Zeyla is passionate about working with people who need help with pelvic health and chronic pain. She finds the medical mystery of working with those who have complex medical conditions academically stimulating. She enjoys the academic challenge of figuring out how each individual’s body can best recover from or manage the problems with which they present. She is particularly interested in working with her patients as a team to achieve the best results possible.

Outside of the clinic she enjoys making greeting cards, scrapbooking, travel and scuba diving. Her favorite people are her son and daughter (in-law), and their dog, Rory.

Annika is a native Oregonian who earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Willamette University and her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from George Fox University. As a therapist, Annika enjoys working with patients of all ages and abilities. She has focused her clinical experience in outpatient orthopedics and geriatrics with additional training in vestibular rehabilitation and treatments for low back pain. By using a combination of hands-on manual therapy, patient education, and corrective exercise, Annika helps patients return to an active lifestyle. Her background in research at George Fox University enables her to provide additional expertise in the rehabilitation of overuse injuries.

Annika has a special interest in health & wellness and she strives to model healthy behaviors to her patients. This passion stems from her time as a NCAA collegiate volleyball and tennis player and later on as a competitive CrossFit athlete. Her experience as both a former CrossFit coach and athlete have provided her insights that she brings to her patients and treatment approach.

Outside of the clinic, Annika believes strongly in extending her work into the community. She enjoys working closely with CrossFit gyms, sharing information about the physical therapy profession at schools/universities, and supporting her husband with coaching athletes in football & track at Mountainside High School in Beaverton. In her free time, Annika enjoys training (CrossFit, Olympic lifting, cycle classes), playing volleyball, traveling, exploring wine country, speaking German as part of her heritage, and spending time with her husband.

Kimberly is a New England girl at heart. After moving around throughout her childhood, she spent most of her time growing up in New Hampshire. Go Red Sox! She started her journey away from the east coast with her undergraduate work in Boulder, Colorado. Her first experience with physical therapy was as an aide in North Lake Tahoe after she moved there to pursue her skiing passion. After this, she knew that a physical therapist is who she wanted to be. She then journeyed to Chicago to work in corporate wellness and attend physical therapy school. Family decisions brought her to Portland, where she has been practicing ever since graduating PT school.

She has fallen in love with being a physical therapist and the constant learning and growth that is associated with the career. She went on to become a board certified orthopedic specialist (OCS) in 2014 and is currently pursuing her manual certification through the North American Institute of Manual Therapy.

Kimberly grew up in a fun and active family. She played many sports growing up: softball, lacrosse, nordic/alpine ski teams, rock climbing, water skiing and field hockey. She went on to play club field hockey in college. To this day, being active is still her thing and sharing this love for being active and outside with her 7 year old son is her new passion.
